Spring has Sprung!!

I am SO happy that Spring is here and we can finally spend a lot more time outside in the sun, even if the wind and chill is still around at times, bundling and being outside with NO SNOW is so worth it!!

I am most loving the natural light that is around and easier to use with being outside, getting those nice bright photos that "pop" the subject right out off it is such a pleasure to capture.

I see that my sessions are beginning to pick up as the "word" gets out and is spread about my name & my  photography. I want to thank everyone for giving referrals and kind words about my photos and work.

I am now looking for any current/past clients to write a "testimonial" for me to use on my website/fanpage for new clients to know what to expect when they consider scheduling a photo session with me. I am willing to offer 10% off your next session if you are willing to provide a testimonial for me, I only request to receive it by email before the end of the month of April. Loving the Sun coming out!!

Isn't Spring fabulous!! Especially coming out of a Maine winter, nothing is quite like the spring-time air & warmth and the sunshine that comes along with it!! Even the Spring "showers" ... are a lot of fun, washing away the little remaining snow... and creating fun puddles for splashin!!

Im having a LOT of fun shooting pictures outside again/more now ... it's so much easier and fun with the natural lighting ... and I feel like I've come a long way since Fall-time, which excites me!!

Here are a few of my girls from recently "playing" around ;)

And a couple of them with their father.. :) They are all so patient and kind to allow me to take so many photos of them, but how can I resist?! 

As far as Laurie Goodheart Photography.... I am very much looking forward to a double-family session on Saturday in the morning and then another seperate session in the afternoon... will be a FUN FUN day!!

Also, I am working on getting my pricing compiled and clear to post here on my blog for anyone interested and/or to forward to friends and family that you think needs OR wants to have Portraits done this Spring or Summer.

Hello !!!


I've decided since I'm so much in the Spring/Giving mood... I am going to get the "Giving" Out before Spring & Summer OFICIALLY arrive and it gets busier..

I'm going to give away a highly discounted session per week through rest of March. ... (First come/First serve basis)...

A photo session for up to 4 people either indoor at my house OR preferably outdoor at an agreed location within 30-45mins from me.  (Additional people can be added for a small additional fee) ...

** This will be three more sessions (Im kinda including today's Free session for Fawn Dudley in the "contest" count) ....

So, again ... First 4 people to email me directly to schedule a session for each week will receive special rate of 40.00!! This rate still will include all processed photos on a personalized CD disk with full print authorizations. I will also provide a price list for me to order prints for you from a high quality printer if you are interested.

The Pleasure Of Sunshine..

On Thursday I had the WONDERFUL pleasure to photograph a daycare & preschool of 12 children. What fun it was! The parents/owner were wonderful help and the kiddos did such a fantastic job! It was a joy to take their picture... here is the group photo from the day so far!

Sweet Baby Ray

Yesterday I had the fortunate experience to have my first newborn photo shoot with two week old Reagan, she is adorable and perfect in every which way, it was a pleasure to meet her and she was the perfect photo baby and slept right through it all! I already can't wait to take more pictures of her as she grows ... Congratulations and Excellant Job to Missy and Josh Jeawitt~!!

Home From Vacation

Im back home from our 2 weeks on vacation from Maine to South Carolina. We had a LOT of fun, it's good to be home though and sleeping in the same place and not living out of our suitcases any longer!

While on Vacation...

My Daughter has been very lucky to feed a giraffee... how many people can say that they have done that? :) Very Cool. We also saw Flamingos, Bears, Elephants ... and more ..

We are in South Carolina, where there is no snow, temps are good and the ocean is pretty!

Looking forward to weddings and more photos when I get back home. ;)

Wedding in Waterville...

This past weekend I photographed a wedding in Waterville of the "Kopecky's" A super cute & happy Couple.
